At the end of this year, I will be leaving the army, and moving on to different things. I'm leaving to concentrate on opportunities that suit my desire to make more of a difference in life, and ultimately allow me the chance to support my loved ones more. After almost a decade in the Army, I'd like to put my family, in particular my husband, more central in my life, and not have to operate with the continuing worry of being separated for several months at a time. Constantly having to put him second, is something I no longer wish to do. I've had an absolute blast during my time in the Army, and have not taken this decision lightly... but I know it's now time to move on. I would fully recommend a career in the British Army to anyone.
